The alliance with the World Spirit Youth Council sanctioned in February 2008 in Thailand brought forth the opportunity that more youth involved in peacework and more specifically in the campaigns for Ministries and Departments of Peace have the space to experience different cultures of peace. After the 5-days retreat being immersed in Buddhist Meditation in Thailand, from 7 to 14 September on the grounds of the Six Nations, near Toronto, youth practiced First Nations ceremonies and practices.
